My Sister’s Closet
Many of the women who become tenants at the YWCA’s Women’s Residence move in with only the clothes on their backs and few resources to get started.
My Sister’s Closet is an in-house clothing “boutique” located on the main floor of our Women’s Residence. Here, women living at the Residence can receive gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry at no cost. Thanks to the generosity of our community, our women can enjoy a “shopping experience” for the necessary clothing items that will help them begin a new chapter in their lives.
Operated by volunteers, My Sister’s Closet gladly accepts individual and corporate donations of clean, seasonal women’s apparel.
