Enroll your children in recreational or competitive gymnastics at the YWCA!

Our facilities include an 8,000-square-foot, air-conditioned gymnasium with a spring floor, trampoline, BAB system, and 40-foot Tumbletrack. The program stresses safety and fun with opportunities for all ages and experiences to participate in YWCA USA Gymnastics Federation and USAIGC-sponsored events.

Our philosophy is to teach gymnastics and build confidence and self-esteem through movement, music, themes, and developmental progressions.

Our staff is safety certified by the USA Gymnastics Federation. Qualifications and experience include competitive gymnastics, coaching, dance, acrobatics, personal training, fitness and health counseling, martial arts, cheerleading, tumbling, first aid CPR, and RTE.  Throughout the year, our coaches attend clinics and workshops to keep their knowledge and teaching skills up to date.

We offer a variety of classes for Parent & Tot, Preschoolers, Youth (Co-Ed), Boys program, Ninja Warrior, Tumbling, Teens, Adults, and Teams.

Recreational Classes

Parent/Tot Classes
Co-ed, for ages 2-3 years old
Parent/caregivers, along with their children enjoy fun-filled activities that introduce gymnastics skills under the guidance of our instructors.  Our program is designed to introduce your toddler to a pre-school program with simple structure, routine, organization and FUN!

Pre-School Gymnastics
Co-ed, for ages 2 – 4 years old
Our program goals include developing physical and mental skills that challenge the spirit of children in a fun and safe atmosphere. Child must be fully toilet trained. Pre-school ratio: 5:1

Youth Gymnastics Co-Ed
For girls and boys 4 -18 years old
We offer all Olympic events for girls and boys. Children will be grouped by age and skill level. Ratio 7:1

Boys Only Class
For ages 6-10
For beginner and intermediate levels. Ratio 7:1

Tumbling Class Co-Ed
Designed to teach fundamentals of tumbling skills used in cheerleading.

Adult Tumbling Private Lessons 
Stresses safety and fun, with opportunities for all. For adults looking to work on existing skills and learn new tumbling skills. Coaches and instructors are USAG and safety certified. Wear comfortable clothing! Adults (18 and over); co-ed.

Competitive Teams

Team gymnastics is offered for girls from age 7. Membership is by invitation only from the Head Coach. Fees are payable in installments by credit card or in full at time of registration. Gymnasts participate in USAG Compulsory and Optional competitions throughout New York State.

Level 2-5 Compulsory Teams
All gymnasts master the same routines and skills before moving to the next competitive level.

Level 6-10 Optional Teams
Routines are individualized for each gymnast while using the particular requirements needed for the level.

USAIGC
The USAIGC Program offers a broad-based, optional competitive experience outside the traditional Jr. Olympic Program.

Advanced Invitational Groups (non-competitive)

Advanced Recreational
Comets are based on Level 1/ 2 and Copper Levels.
Novas are based on Level 2/3 and Copper Levels.
Stars are based on 3 /4 and Bronze Levels.
Warriors Based on 4/5 and Bronze Levels.

Gymnastics Summer Camp

  • Ages 6 – 15 (Co-ed) Campers must turn 6 by June 30

  • Early drop off and late pick up available

  • Seven-week program

There is never a dull moment. Swinging on the bars, flipping on the trampolines, doing cartwheels and vaulting, children will build memories to last a lifetime. Through our program, beginners can gain skills in a short amount of time and carry them over into the Fall. Experienced gymnasts will learn advanced skills and have time to focus on improving specific elements and exploring the Olympic events. No Experience Necessary.

Days include warm-up, morning gymnastic rotations, rest/snack, conditioning, lunch, and afternoon gymnastics rotations. Campers also have the opportunity to swim four times a week, participate in outdoor fun and explore special events. In addition, weekly themes keep everyone entertained.
