Early Childcare - Head Teachers and Teacher Assistants

YWCA is looking for Head Teachers and Assistant Teachers who are responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team and functions as a team leader, co-leader, assistants or floater for our preschool or toddler classes.

Senior Camp Counselor

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire for Senior Camp Counselorsfor our Camp Funkist program. Senior Camp Counselors will be responsible for supervision of campers with attention to all of the following: program, health, happiness, discipline, cleanliness, safety, routine duties, character and skill development. Senior Counselor will at all times be under the direct supervision and guidance of the Head Counselor, Program Director, Assistant Director, or another professional designee.

Summer Camp Visual Arts Instructor

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire for our Visual Arts Instructor position. The Visual Arts Instructor must have enthusiasm, creativity, imagination, and a strong desire/ability to collaborate with other teachers and summer staff. Visual Arts Instructor must develop, coordinate and deliver an inspiring program which will include drawing, painting, and stagecraft. The goal of the visual arts program is to introduce young children to the rich diversity of visual arts, to promote interest in the arts and help build positive self-esteem to children through this program.

Director of Facilities

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire for the position of Director of Facilities. The Director of Facilities directs and oversees the agency’s grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that our physical workspace is safe and functional. The Director will plan, direct, and monitor the building and grounds of all physical facilities owned and operated by our YWCA.

Program Director – Economic Empowerment

This position will direct the Economic Empowerment program and team while being responsible for leading, defining, and supporting a workforce development strategy that focuses on digital skills, financial literacy, education, professional growth, and economic empowerment. This will all be done through a special focus on women and communities of color. The position will include program development, workshop facilitation (virtual and in-person), case management, policy development, advocacy & outreach, and staff supervision.

Gymnastics Instructor

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire for Gymnastic Instructors. Our philosophy is to teach gymnastics, build confidence and self-esteem through movement, music, themes and developmental progressions. Instructors must be dependable, enthusiastic, energetic, outgoing and love working with children. The instructors will supervise, instruct and lead toddlers, children and teens in our gymnastics facility.

Case Manager

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire for the position of Case Manager. The Case Manager is responsible for providing a variety of case management and housing-related services to residential clients.

Camp Counselor

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire for our Camp Funkist - Camp Counselor positions that are currently available. Program Director – Camp

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire for our Program Director -Camp position. The Program Director will design, deliver, and evaluate the camp program to ensure delivery in a safe and quality manner. Oversee the financial management and fund development operations to allow for adequate funding and to meet long-term goals. Coordinate activities as they relate to Camp Funkist operations with other YWCA departments (Aquatics, Gymnastics, Fitness, Membership Services, Accounting and Human Resource offices), Westchester County Department of Health (for camp safety plan and permit process) and other local and state regulatory agencies as they relate to a summer day camp operation.

Servant Leader Intern

The YWCA White Plains & Central Westchester is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the position of Servant Leader Intern for our Freedom School Program that we are running in collaboration with the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF).
