Are you looking for a quiet and friendly place to get your exercise and reach your fitness goals? If so, the YWCA is just what you’re looking for! We offer a friendly and low-key atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable, from the beginner exerciser to the serious fitness enthusiast. Our staff is always available to answer any questions about the equipment, help you with a particular exercise or guide you through the different exercise options available.
We firmly believe that anyone can accomplish their fitness goals with a little guidance and encouragement. We talk the talk and walk the walk. Success stories are all over the building and our greatest reward is seeing how these members have turned their lives around with their work and dedication. You can do it too!
You can become another YWCA success story by working with one of our trainers. Whether you choose to train five times a week or month a month, a trainer’s guidance and motivation will go a long way in helping you reach your health and fitness goals.
Our catalog also offers information on current youth activities; such as fencing and karate. These classes are designed to help build age-appropriate skills, confidence, and abilities.

Here’s How to Get Started
The fitness center and the group exercise classes are ongoing and you can join anytime you like. On the other hand, the fee-extra classes run on a semester basis and you must join prior to the first class. Contact us to arrange for a tour or a trial class, 914-949-6227 ext. 208.
