Women's and Community Programs
The YWCA offers several programs aimed at women's empowerment and the elimination of racism.

Since 1987, the Awakenings program, housed in the YWCA Women’s Residence, has provided counseling and treatment referral to 12 women who are homeless, formerly incarcerated, and in recovery from chemical addictions. 428-1130 ext. 302

Financial Empowerment & Career Conversations
Started in 2011, the YWCA has presented sessions aimed at women's empowerment and economic advancement. For information, see our Events page or contact the Development Office.

Children's Centers
The Children's Centers at the Westchester County Courthouse and New Rochelle Courthouse providing on-site child care for children of litigants.

Encore Plus
Cancer education program for low-income or under-insured women.

Stand Against Racism
The Stand Against Racism is a movement of the YWCA that aims to eliminate racism by raising awareness through its annual event. You, too, can be a part of this important program.
