Our Curriculum

Children’s natural curiosity leads them to explore the world around them. Our goal is to foster each child in his or her learning progression.
The YWCA uses The Creative Curriculum® , a research-based methodology that is designed to assist teachers in delivering age-appropriate and engaging lessons for children infant through preschool. Starting in our infant classrooms and progressing through our toddler and preschool classes, our teachers provide rich learning experiences that foster literacy, math, science, language and social skills preparing each child for his/her journey to elementary school.

Our teachers work with each child as an individual while collaborating as a team to foster social and emotional development, develop secure attachments, support cognition, and nurture brain development for all children in the group.
